Skills
Essential criteria
1. Skills in the use of complex methods of psychological assessment intervention and management frequently requiring sustained and intense concentration.
2. Well-developed skills in the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, highly technical, and clinically sensitive information to clients, their families, carers and other professional colleagues both within and outside the NHS.
3. Evidence of continuing professional development as recommended by the BPS/HCPC.
4. Supervision skills.
Desirable criteria
1. Experience of management and or leadership skills.
2. Knowledge of the theory and experience/practice of neuro-developmental diagnostic assessments and interventions.
Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. Doctoral level training in clinical psychology.
2. Registered with HCPC.
3. 4 years post qualification experience.
4. Completion of post graduate diploma in Clinical Neuropsychology.
Desirable criteria
1. Post-doctoral training in evidence-based specialist psychological therapies.
Experience
Essential criteria
1. 4 years post qualification experience.
2. Experience working with individuals with complex neuropsychological and/or neurological needs.
3. Experience supervising Trainee Clinical Psychologists.
Desirable criteria
1. Experience of management and or leadership.

The annual fee will be reimbursed subject to Trust policy.
