Site Service Champion- Days
Salary £28,306
Tuesday to Saturday 8am to 4:30pm and Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm alternating weeks
Stock management and control is an essential part of our operation. Ensuring we have stock in the right place, at the right time helps keep our customers happy. Site Service Champion is a critical part of this team – The role’s main purpose is to deliver excellent site solutions, proactively informing the depot of any service issues and ensuring that all queries are handled promptly and company to satisfaction.
Report directly to the Stock Manager
The role includes:
· Produce Excel-based charts and tables, mainly using standard templates.
· Handle customer calls in a polite and empathetic manner.
· Negotiate solutions to complex delivery issues to meet both customer and company needs.
· Liaise with other departments to ensure corrective action is taken on delivery issues and follow up to ensure resolution.
· Identify and present the need for new or improved site service and operational process solutions.
· Communication of KPIs to the team and ensuring that these targets are met.
· Working with our Customer service Team.
· Maintaining effective working relationships within our Export Business.
· Ensure outstanding documents from Depots and Suppliers are received and resolve any anomalies.
· Stock Inventory duties where required and assist with quality control of reports, files, and documentation
You’ll have:
· IT skills and knowledge of Excel & Outlook
· Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, negotiation, decision making and assertiveness skills.
· SAP knowledge would be an advantage.
In addition, you should demonstrate initiative towards making positive improvements and attention to detail as well as being able to work under pressure and to deadlines.
