Our charity shops play a crucial role in raising funds to help us deliver care and to support local people. We are currently seeking a Shop Assistant to join our Meir Shop team - You will work alongside the Manager, Deputy Manager, Supervisors and our numerous Volunteers. Customer Service experience is essential within our local community environment. You will play a vital role in supporting our shops daily operations, you will have the skills to help generate the money needed for the hospice to support out local people. Key Responsibilities Support the sales of the Furniture section of the store – the role does require manual handing (training will also be given) Provide exceptional customer service and ensure high standards are maintained Assist in sorting, pricing, and displaying donations to maximize sales Handle transactions and operate the till confidently and accurately About You We’re looking for someone with a flexible approach, a can-do attitude, and a willingness to get involved. No two days are the same, so adaptability and positivity are key You’ll also need: An awareness of price, value and worth of items A customer-focused approach and strong communication skills Creativity and commercial awareness with visual merchandising skills Experience in working towards targets Why Join Dougie Mac?
