Job role: Science Laboratory Technician
Salary: FMAT Band Support Staff Payscale - £24,175.50 (FTE)
Hours: 37 hours per week
Monday – Thursday: 8.30am – 4.30pm
Friday: 8.30am – 4.00pm
(30 minutes unpaid lunch break on all days)
Term Time plus 1 week
Contract Status: Permanent
Contract Start Date: January 2025

The school is looking to recruit a Science Laboratory Technician to work within the Multi Academy Trust. Applicants should be educated to A Level (or equivalent) in a Science and will ideally have previous experience of working in a Science Laboratory.
The successful candidate will join a small team of technicians who support the delivery of the Science curriculum in school. You will have the ability to work in a calm and flexible manner and have a professional approach towards your work. The ability to work as part of a team is essential, and the ability to form positive working relationships and support students to make progress is paramount.
