Join ROI as a Team Manager supporting Alphabet (Fleet Sales), where you will lead a dynamic sales team within the Automotive sector, driving performance and supporting client objectives. This is a new role to support an existing, and highly successful team on their journey to further increasing overall sales volume.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Sales Manager overseeing a newly formed team of 7 Business Development professionals who provide qualified sales leads into our own internal desk based direct selling team and external field sales team.
As a Team Manager, you will be pivotal in driving the success of the Alphabet service offerings, managing a dedicated team, and ensuring our clients receive exceptional service.
* Coach/develop a team of volume sales/new business development professionals by setting sales objectives, providing feedback, and facilitating professional growth.
* Manage people processes and team resources in line with company policies and procedures - delivering operational and quality targets to KPIs.
* Manage change and ensure adherence to process, compliance and information security standards.
* Ensure the team consistently hit/deliver successful results, on time, against all SLAs and quality standards.
* Maintain individual team members' KPIs at the optimal levels.
* Keep morale of the team high and spot/correct instances as appropriate.
* Drive productivity and ensure the team meets/exceeds required levels of discipline through high levels of employee satisfaction.
* Implement strategies to optimise team performance and meet client service delivery targets.
* Set high standards and expectations of team with regards to quality, process adherence and activity rate. Maintain team focus on priorities at all times.
* Track and measure performance, making visible to team daily and identifying ways to fix and prevent underperformance.
* Maintain and enhance relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met with tailored solutions.
* Guide the team to provide a top-tier service to Alphabet and their customers, leading to customer satisfaction and loyalty.
* Work closely with internal departments to ensure seamless integration of services and continuous improvement.
* Build trust with direct reports, peers, clients, customers and managers.
* Work effectively across departments and business units.
* Share relevant information from client and organisational leaders to team.
* Keep stakeholders informed of opportunities, risks, issues or status updates.
* Monitor team performance through analysis and reporting, making data-driven decisions to drive success.
* Be the expert in all key project systems and processes.
* Interpret data to identify trends and make decisions.
* Drive innovative solutions through adopting new strategies and solutions to improve service offerings and client satisfaction.
Skills and Experience
* Evidence of delivering targets through others, developing sales teams both individually and collectively.
* Proven leadership experience within the automotive, fleet, or leasing sectors, with a track record of managing successful teams.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
* Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.
* Proficient with CRM platforms and data-driven performance management tools and technologies that enhance and drive team efficiency and service delivery (e.g., Salesforce).
* Client-focused mindset with the ability to build strong relationships and provide exceptional client service.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
* Problem-solving skills with the ability to devise effective solutions to challenges.
