Teaching Assistant
We are looking for:
An enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to work with children who require 1:1 support and with groups of pupils who require support (although at times may be required to carry out other duties e.g. oversee a class, supervise, or lead games).
Key to your success will be:
* Experience of working in a school setting with pupils, ideally including pupils with additional support needs;
* Work constructively as part of a team, understand classroom roles and responsibilities and your own position within these;
* Ability to relate well to children and adults;
* Good organisational skills;
* Excellent initiative and able to demonstrate the ability to problem solve and react quickly and effectively to resolve situations that arise;
* Establishing productive working relationships with pupils, acting as a role model whilst planning, implementing and developing 1:1 mentoring arrangements;
* Outstanding people skills;
* Excellent oral, written and numerical skills;
* Able to support and actively promote the Catholic ethos of the school.
