We’re looking for an experienced Web Designer to join our passionate and expanding web team.
As a web designer, your primary responsibility will be to create aesthetically pleasing and innovative website designs, from concept to completion, for our diverse clientele spanning various sectors. Successful candidates will possess agency experience and the ability to handle multiple projects whilst working to strict deadlines. A significant part of your role involves executing keyword research and competitor assessment, mapping user journeys, and gaining insights into user personas. These elements should be skilfully incorporated into your designs to guarantee that the websites you develop yield high-performance outcomes for our clients. You are expected to collaborate closely with the web design and development teams to ensure that the websites you produce are constructed and refined to the highest possible standard.
Full-time
Hybrid (Minimum of 2 days a week at our Retford location)
Salary: £30,000-£35,000, dependent on experience
Key responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
1. Understanding customers and their needs through market analysis, customer research, usage analytics, and feedback
2. Creating sitemaps, wireframes, user flows, process flows and prototypes
3. Executing all visual design stages from concept to final stage
4. Developing effective and engaging design concepts that surpass our clients' expectations
5. Ensuring your work is of the highest quality and pushes creative boundaries
6. Designing sites that are fully responsive including producing mobile templates
7. Designing lead generation and eCommerce websites
8. Creating and optimising high performance landing pages
9. Liaising directly with our web development team throughout the design stage
10. Snagging and testing sites after development to ensure consistency with the design templates
11. Collaborating with our wider creative and digital teams
12. Managing your own time and dealing with the pressures of tight deadlines
13. Managing multiple projects simultaneously
14. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies
15. Liaising with clients throughout the design stage
