Team Manager - Childrens Permanence & Transitions Team
We are looking to recruit a Team Manager for the Childrens Permanence & Transitions Team within the Social Care Industry. Our client has a well-structured and organised team that are looking to grow their staffing levels. The role offers flexible working hours and has a supportive team culture with regular supervision on cases. Devon is embedding a systemic approach and is currently undergoing a number of changes focused on reducing caseloads and improving outcomes for families. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and supportive team within Devon County Council.
Main duties include:
1. Allocate and monitor workloads.
2. Resolve service delivery issues within the service area.
3. Ensure case work is appropriately planned, critically evaluated and reviewed.
4. Ensure the achievement of expected performance according to standards, policies and procedures.
5. Undertake audit activity in accordance with the quality assurance framework and develop the team and workers' performance in accordance with audit findings.
6. Chair meetings as required for the service area.
7. Undertake expected roles within the service area.
8. Effectively use and manage appropriate financial resources within available budgets.
Minimum Requirements:
1. SWE Registration
2. 1-5 years post qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry
3. Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
4. Eligibility to work in the UK
