Programme
Our training programme is underpinned by a development framework that broadens and deepens your knowledge. You'll learn from hands-on coaching and an outstanding variety of work, picking up business, personal and technical skills you can use across the network, and throughout your career.
What you’ll do
We are looking for ambitious, creative thinkers, who want to get their career off to a great start, working in an environment that will challenge and reward you as you progress.
A split scheme position will give you the opportunity to work within the Advisory and External Audit Line of Service. Gaining the knowledge and skills needed to develop your career and remain agile. Upon qualifying, you will be given the choice as to whether you will move full-time into either the Advisory/Risk Assurance Services or External Audit Line of Service.
Whilst working within External Audit you’ll be providing market leading audit services to an unprecedented range of clients. Helping organisations navigate regulatory complexity while strengthening trust and transparency in their business.
In Advisory we help organisations to work smarter and grow faster, our work is always evolving to respond to industry trends and management focus, we utilise our deep technical skills to provide advice and assistance based on our financial, analytical and business process skills, helping our clients improve and change the way they do business.
During our three year programme you will also study for your professional Chartered Accounting qualification. You’ll have a lot of support from your team, career coach and buddy to help you achieve this. It’s the variety and opportunity we offer that allows you to develop a broad range of effective business skills and enables our people to excel across the breadth of work we offer.
At PwC, whilst we strive to align engagements with the specific proposition you are aligned to or interested in, and your unique skills and experience, market conditions or other factors sometimes necessitate agility across our Advisory team and the broader firm. This flexibility not only supports our dynamic environment but also offers valuable development opportunities and broadened expertise. In these instances, coaching and guidance will be available to help you navigate these diverse assignments successfully.
Depending on your client’s needs, your time will be split between working at client premises, working in the office and studying for your professional exams. We trust our people to be where our clients need them to be, working together with our colleagues in person as often as needed. Some travel is possible for work and you should expect there to be busy times of the year.
Who is this vacancy for and what you’ll need
It doesn't matter who you are or what your schooling background is. As you'll no doubt have gathered by now, we believe diversity is our strength.
You'll need to have achieved or be on course to achieve a 2.1 result in your degree, from any University. The subject of your degree is not relevant.
Do you need a Work Permit?
Due to immigration restrictions in Jersey and Guernsey the Channel Islands firm is unable to consider trainee candidates who require work permits.
