Purchase Ledger Clerk Annual Salary : £25,000 - £30,000 Location : Sittingbourne Job Type : Full-time We are currently on the lookout for a skilled Purchase Ledger Clerk with experience in using the Prophet system to join our finance team. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, has a strong understanding of purchase ledger processes, and is keen to contribute to the financial efficiency of our operations. Day-to-day of the role: Processing and maintaining the purchase ledger, ensuring timely and accurate recording of invoices. Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies. Preparing payment runs and managing supplier payments. Liaising with suppliers and resolving any invoice or payment queries. Utilising Prophet to input and manage financial data. Assisting with month-end and year-end procedures. Working closely with the finance team to improve processes and controls within the purchase ledger function. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk. Proficiency with Prophet software is essential. Strong understanding of purchase ledger processes and best practices. Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
