Role Overview
On behalf of our client, we are seeking experienced Project Controls Managers to support a major water project based in Reading. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in project controls, including cost management, scheduling, risk analysis, and reporting within infrastructure or utilities projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement robust project control processes, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
2. Manage cost control, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
3. Oversee project scheduling and planning using industry-standard tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
4. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project risks.
5. Provide regular project performance reports and dashboards to stakeholders and senior management.
6. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.
7. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
Requirements
1. Proven experience as a Project Controls Manager, preferably within the water sector or large-scale infrastructure projects.
2. Strong knowledge of project controls methodologies, tools, and best practices.
3. Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
5. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
6. Relevant qualifications (e.g., APM, PMP, Prince2) are advantageous.
7. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
