Job Description
Exercise day to day control of all internal/external fleet vehicle service, maintenance and repair nationally as required.
Control of all mobile service units as required. Financial responsibility for purchase levels, including checking and processing invoices for vehicle maintenance and equipment up to pre agreed limit in a timely manner.
Responsible for the hub, mobile unit and vehicle security including securing and opening the premises as required.
Monitor the daily defects, making decisions on whether internal/external repair or mobile units are the best solution. Liaise with vehicle users/dealerships/manufacturers in respect of vehicle Service/Maintenance and Repair (SMR).
Operate the computerised fleet management system, including the inputting of accurate data and the provision of management information.
Monitor and update the new external maintenance system ensuring all external maintenance is carried out in a timely manner.
Please note hours will be worked between 08:00 - 16:00
