The Role:
As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for processing payroll efficiently and supporting the wider payroll function. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate payments, maintaining records, and providing excellent service to employees.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process weekly payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
* Input and verify timesheets to ensure staff are paid correctly.
* Manage starters and leavers, including issuing P45s.
* Ensure all payroll-related information is correctly recorded and maintained.
* Handle payroll queries from employees and resolve any issues promptly.
* Assist with the preparation of payroll reports for internal use.
* Support compliance with payroll legislation and company policies.
* Liaise with HMRC regarding PAYE, tax codes, and other payroll-related matters.
