Respond to service requests generated via the IT Helpdesk system, within appropriate timescales. Follow established local procedures to setup and deploy infrastructure equipment Investigate and rectify hardware and software problems on infrastructure equipment. Install software to computer systems. Take part in a daily support rota, working across sites if required. Act as cover to the IT Servicedesk team if service requires it. 3. Service Delivery Assist with the control of media, hardware warranties and software licences. Assist in the production and maintenance of written documentation. Assist with the assetting of the Trust's computer equipment, and maintenance of Helpdesk inventory and asset registers.
Good IT technical skills gained from an IT support environment, excellent communication and working from a service desk system are essential.
