Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring the smooth operation of our human resources processes. This position requires strong communication skills and proficiency in various HRIS systems, including Workday and PeopleSoft, to effectively manage employee data and support recruitment efforts.
Duties
* Manage and maintain employee records within the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
* Assist in the recruitment process by coordinating job postings, screening applications through ATS systems like Taleo, and scheduling interviews.
* Support onboarding processes for new hires, including preparing orientation materials and conducting initial training sessions.
* Collaborate with management to address employee relations issues and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
* Conduct data entry tasks related to payroll, benefits administration, and performance management.
* Prepare reports and analyses related to HR metrics using Salesforce or similar tools to support decision-making.
* Communicate effectively with employees at all levels to provide information regarding HR policies, benefits, and other inquiries.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a human resources role or similar administrative position.
* Proficiency in HRIS systems such as Workday or PeopleSoft; familiarity with ATS systems like Taleo is advantageous.
* Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in employee records.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally across all levels of the organisation.
* Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
