How will you make an impact?
Assisting the Innovation managers on exciting innovation projects - from concept development to product development (in collaboration with NPD) across Global/EU innovation as well as local innovation projects.
You will also own some smaller scale Innovation projects such as MRO, line extensions and new flavours where you will have end-to-end ownership from concept to delivery.
You will own some of the data reporting for the local commercial innovation team ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting into our monthly performance review cycles. As well as that you will be key in inspiring the UK business on Innovation with launch days, monthly updates and brand planning day.
* Assist Innovation Managers on projects aligned with brand strategy, collaborating with category and cross-functional teams.
* Support the delivery of end-to-end high-impact innovation projects, introducing new market propositions.
* Contribute to sustainability packaging projects and the creation of business cases, understanding commercial needs.
* Lead selected small-scale innovation projects and support Brand Managers in minor renovations like recipe changes.
* Arrange samples for presentations, assist with performance reporting, and inspire teams by sharing innovation trends.
What will make you successful?
To succeed in this role, you'll need analytical and creative thinking skills. Having 1-2 years of experience in innovation management or product development, especially in the dairy or food industry, will set you apart.
While direct managerial experience isn't necessary, you should be capable of leading projects. Experience with international markets or cross-cultural teams will be beneficial. Excellent English proficiency, along with strong communication and presentation skills, is crucial for engaging and inspiring diverse teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with data reporting and project management tools will also contribute to your success.
