Cygnet Hospital Beckton is a gender-specific hospital for women with complex mental health needs. Situated in the East End of London, the hospital has four different specialist wards including PICU, acute admissions, and personality disorder services.

We are seeking an Activity Coordinator to plan and deliver activities for our female psychiatric intensive care unit based at Cygnet Hospital Beckton.
Your Role
The Activity Coordinator involves planning, coordinating, and delivering personalized activities on Svanna Ward (female PICU). This will comprise of diversional activities and leading celebration and theme days.
You will work closely with the wider multidisciplinary staff to ensure safe and effective activity provision.
The successful candidate will be a proactive, empathetic, resourceful individual with excellent motivational skills. The post holder will be expected to provide individual and group activities. The individual will be offered regular supervision, guidance, and support for their professional and personal development.
Person Specification
General Requirements
* Experience in planning and delivering activities in a healthcare setting.
* Ability to engage with patients and promote mental health recovery.
