A once in a lifetime role. Through sharing our Penguin Rescue's important story of protection and conservation with our visitors, you will tug on their heartstrings and inspire the same enthusiasm in them.
We are on an exploration for a bird buff who's not afraid of getting bitten. A passionate penguin enthusiast who doesn't mind rolling up their sleeves and getting down and dirty!
As a penguin keeper, your main focus will be looking after the positive welfare of our little orphans while sharing their important stories.
You will also be a confident communicator who can speak to groups of up to 40 while giving the penguins their morning and afternoon tea, and hosting small groups on intimate Backstage Pass tours demonstrating the workings of the penguin enclosure and the vet room. Proven experience in animal husbandry is essential, with avian experience being an advantage.
Join us in this role if you are passionate about telling our story and inspiring change!
What's in it for you?
