Job Title
A Test and Termination Technician is needed to work in our Test and Termination department, based on a day shift of Monday to Thursday 8am – 5pm and Friday 8am – 4.30pm.
This role involves assembling subsea metalwork and ensuring the testing and verification of conformance for all products manufactured by JDR, materials purchased by JDR, and free-issue parts supplied by customers.
Main Responsibilities
* Carry out in-process and final testing, termination, and inspection of manufactured products according to individual manufacturing specifications and relevant procedures.
* Assemble termination parts and subsea connectors, including swaging of hydraulic and pneumatic hoses and their integration with stab plates, winches, and QRCs, as per manufacturing specifications.
* Be competent in using different resins/moulding materials and preparation techniques to ensure product conformance.
* Pack and prepare finished products for transport to meet delivery schedules.
* Understand and adhere to JDR's procedures, packing, and load-out specifications/drawings to guarantee correct product packing.
* Assist with training others to ensure compliance with processes and procedures.
* Maintain a clean and tidy working environment that complies with Health and Safety requirements.
