The Assistant Director Property Development & Management will be reporting into the Chief Executive Officer, your main responsibilities would be: Developing and implementinga property strategy and development plan aligned with the organisations objectives and values, including property sale, acquisition, expansion upgrade and redevelopment. Overseeing the management of a portfolio of properties ensuring they meet the needs of service users and operational objectives. Providing expert advice on property related matters including acquisitions, disposals and lease negotiations. Supporting Praxis Care to deliver a modern, efficient and sustainable property portfolio which is compliant with all relevant regulations and which enables effective, meaningful, co-produced and safe delivery of care and support to our service users, staff and stakeholders. Leading and mentoring a team of Property Managers and Heads of Property, Providing assurances to the Senior Leadership Team and Praxis Care Board on matters relating to property. What do you need to succeed? Degree in an Engineering, Property or Construction related profession. Applicants must also demonstrate over a 5 year period how they have: Proven experience in property management, facilities management or a related field, ideally within the Charity or Social Care sector. Strong understanding of H&S, Fire Regulations and accessibility standards. Excellent leadership and project management skills. Financial acumen and experience in managing budgets and controlling costs. Strong negotiations and communication skills. Knowledge of the legal framework governing property in the UK (or relevant location). Successfully delivered major complex capital development schemes. Managed third party contractors and experts. Assistant Director Property Development & Management Full Time Competitive salary starting on £52,582 (Belfast) or€74,557 (Ardee) Salary is based on 37.5 hours per week anddependent on experience. Salary scale is based on the location of the post holder.
