We’re looking for an experienced Estates Manager to play a key role in shaping and maintaining the outstanding facilities that support our vibrant learning community. Based primarily at Cadbury College, you will oversee the development, maintenance, and compliance of our campuses, including our City Centre and Cradley Heath sites. Working alongside the Head of Estates, you’ll ensure our environments are not just functional but inspiring, creating spaces where students and staff can excel. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact in an ambitious and growing organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the maintenance and security of the estate, ensuring all buildings, grounds, and facilities meet agreed priorities and compliance standards
Lead and manage the Estates Team, ensuring effective deployment, training, performance reviews, and adherence to best practices
Implement and maintain policies, procedures, and systems to deliver a high-quality, efficient, and sustainable estates service
Support statutory compliance, including testing equipment, recording results, and managing health and safety within the team and estate
Manage budgets, procurement, contracts, and facilities systems such as BMS and CAFM, ensuring services align with College expectations
Promote sustainability, monitor utilities, and support minor works and capital development programmes in collaboration with senior leadershipSkills, Knowledge and ExpertiseThe ideal candidate will hold a trade or professional qualification relevant to Estates or Facilities Management and have proven experience managing estates in the public or private sector. They must demonstrate expertise in overseeing statutory compliance and health and safety requirements, ensuring all standards are effectively met.
