Contract: Permanent, Part Time 16.5 hours per week, to be worked over 3 days (Days to be discussed at interview) - term time only, plus 5 inset days
Salary: Grade B - £25,136 - £27,398 Actual starting salary - £9,598 per annum

We are looking for a technician to join our supportive and talented arts team at Monkton Wood Academy in Taunton. We are a diverse multi-academy trust, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our students’ learning.
What we are looking for:
To be successful in the post, we are looking for a Creative Arts Technician who will provide high quality technical support for our Art Department.
Under the supervision of the Curriculum Lead, the Art Technician will provide technical assistance and support to facilitate excellent teaching and learning within the department. They will prepare, provide, and maintain the necessary resources required to enable safe and engaging practical activities to be undertaken by staff and students. The postholder will maintain an appropriate health and safety culture ensuring that all relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines are always adhered to.
