Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic B2B Marketing & PR Manager, whose role will be critical in driving brand awareness, generating leads and establishing Biglight as a thought leader in our industry. This role will be part time 4 days per week.
The ideal candidate will have a strong B2B marketing and public relations background, with a proven track record of creating content and executing content marketing campaigns that drive business results.
Key Responsibilities
Content Development:
1. Create compelling and informative content that resonates with B2B audiences, including white papers, case studies, blogs, newsletters, and social media content.
2. Oversee the production of marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and sales collateral.
Public Relations & Thought Leadership:
3. Manage PR efforts, including media relations, press releases, and proactive story pitching to establish Biglight’s presence in key industry publications and media outlets.
4. Develop and maintain relationships with key media contacts, industry influencers and thought leaders.
5. Collaborate with leadership to position executives as thought leaders through speaking engagements, authored content and interviews.
Marketing:
6. Plan, execute, and optimise multi-channel marketing campaigns including content marketing, email marketing, social media, events, webinars and more.
7. Plan industry-relevant event attendance and sponsorship opportunities.
8. Work closely with the agency management team to develop and manage targeted marketing initiatives that drive qualified leads through the sales funnel.
Brand Management:
9. Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels and touchpoints.
10. Develop and maintain brand guidelines to ensure all marketing and PR activities reflect the company’s brand identity and values.
Analytics & Reporting:
11. Monitor, analyse, and report on the effectiveness of marketing and PR campaigns, using data-driven insights to optimize future initiatives.
12. Utilise marketing analytics tools to measure ROI and performance against KPIs.
Budget Management:
13. Manage marketing budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximise ROI.
14. Forecast, track, and report on marketing expenditures.
Team Collaboration:
15. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive marketing strategies.
16. Manage external agencies and vendors as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications
17. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
18. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in creating engaging content for B2B audiences.
19. 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing and public relations.
20. Proven track record of developing and executing successful B2B marketing strategies and PR campaigns.
21. Strong understanding of digital marketing, content marketing, and lead generation tactics.
22. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
23. Strong analytical skills with experience in using data to drive decisions and optimize performance.
24. Proficiency in marketing tools such as CRM, marketing automation, analytics software, and social media management platforms.
