G5 is a 23-bedded endocrinology ward. We support patients with endocrinology problems, alongside diabetic complications. Alongside the diabetic nurses, we support patients newly diagnosed with diabetes alongside other acute medical conditions.
You will work alongside the medical doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, the patients, and their relatives to ensure a safe and effective discharge for our patients. Our in-house discharge coordinator helps nursing staff with the complex discharge processes.
Main Duties of the Job
1. Actively participate in the care and support of patients with endocrinology and diabetic complications.
2. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and effective discharge.
3. Assist in the complex discharge processes with the support of the discharge coordinator.
