Client:
Our client is a well-respected Property Services Contractor that has been operating for approximately 50 years. They specialise in property alterations and modifications, damage restoration and maintenance projects.
Overview of Role:
The Supply Chain & Planning Manager will support the Head of Operations in the service and delivery of maintenance and improvement contracts for the relevant area. Oversight of the planning function and the management of Sub-Contractors and Supply Chain Partners in the area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the KPIs in place with clients daily using Daily Huddles / dashboards with the depot's Supervisors, Planners, and administration team.
* Driving H&S Compliance in all work practices and monitoring through H&S Inspections carried out by sub-contractors.
* Set up, update and manage a sub-contractor KPI system.
* Ensure sub-contractors fully comply with all work processes.
* Applications management including Accuserv, C-View, Accumobile, SharePoint, IMS.
* Ownership of Planning the work with the Depot Planning Team.
* Set and drive the Planning standards across the area.
* Monitoring Job Numbers & Workflows ensuring adequate resource is in place.
* Support Head of Operations on contract matters.
* Liaise with QS department on QS matters relevant to sub-contractors.
* Management of all relevant KPI's with prompt daily Corrective Actions.
* Support the management of the Team and any People Management activities.
* Responsible for recruitment requirements.
* Assist with and champion Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives.
* Perform the job in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.
* Perform any other duties as may be reasonably required.
* Successful implementation and delivery of contracts by sub-contractors.
* SHEQ compliance.
* Efficient & effective client and internal KPI targets are met and maintained.
* Retaining, managing and developing solid relationships with CFM's subcontractor network.
The Ideal Person:
* Some prior knowledge of basic property maintenance.
* IT Skills & knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
* Good written & verbal communication skills.
* A valid UK Driver's Licence.
* Be personally organised at all times.
* Good communication & interpersonal skills.
* Ability to focus & remain calm under pressure.
* Able to keep track of multiple tasks or projects.
* Problem solver able to make quick decisions regarding H&S, executing work & disciplinary issues.
* Ability to think outside the box regarding improvements to efficiencies.
Desirable Criteria:
* CSR Supervisor Card or NVQ equivalent.
* Previous experience in a Leadership Role.
* Experienced in Construction Industry.
* Previous experience in working on NIHE contracts.
