Volunteers will be involved in handling and pricing donations, operating the till and helping to create eye-catching displays.
Experience required
Volunteers will enjoy working as part of a team and enjoy learning new skills. Creativity is also valued.
Full training will be given and no prior experience necessary.
Support
In-house training provided regarding the practical aspects of the volunteer role – handling and pricing donations, operating the till, etc. Volunteers will also complete online training in relation to the history of the Red Cross, Red Cross values, health and safety, etc.
Restrictions
Minimum age: 16
Our back shop area is not wheelchair accessible (down three steps) and there currently isn’t sufficient room behind the till for a wheelchair. Red Cross volunteers must be over 16.
