PURPOSE OF ROLE: As a People Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in both strategic and operational HR delivery within an assigned business area. Your focus will be on enhancing employee engagement through focus on the moments that matter in the employee lifecycle. You'll have a proactive approach and will work with stakeholders to reduce turnover and manage absences through data-driven decision-making. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, shaping the employee experience and driving success against department objectives. You will work closely with the Head of People Experience to enhance the reputation and service delivery of the People Team ensuring a proactive approach. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Support the business through significant transformational change. Create a clear people roadmap for your business area aligned to the People Strategy. Ensure that People policies, programs, and procedures remain innovative and compliant. Data driven insights - Ability to read and understand HR Metrics, produce dashboards, and give them meaning for the business area, aligned to Group people strategy. Develop and implement strategies to build employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture. Develop and implement succession planning and workforce planning strategies to ensure the business area is well-prepared for future growth. PERSON SPECIFICATION: CIPD Level 5 and/or equivalent proven experience in a similar role Experience as a HR Business Partner/ People Business Partner in a fast paced, multi-site and/or regulatory drive environment wherein Health and Safety is paramount. Proven knowledge of UK Employment Law including worker status and IR35 Experience of implementing a HRIS and managing change in an organization. Data driven insights - Ability to read and understand HR Metrics, produce dashboards. Commercial acumen – can partner with the business to deliver commercially focussed people strategies. Experience in streamlining HR processes with best practice in conjunction with affected stakeholders ensuring a good end user experience. Comfortable acting as a coach, and sounding board to Senior managers and the people team. Good knowledge of GDPR and ability to handle confidential information in the right way.
