An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Manager role fixed term until 31st October 2025 within the Inpatient Therapy team.
This role will predominantly focus on providing clinical and managerial leadership for the Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Team delivering Inpatient Therapy services, but will also involve working closely with a Team Manager colleague to provide support across Adult Therapy services within East Cheshire NHS Trust.
Experience providing clinical inpatient therapy services and also leading inpatient therapy services is essential.
This post is fixed term until 31st October 2025
Hours per week: 37.5hrs
Main duties of the job
To act as a Team Manager for the Inpatient Therapy teams based at Macclesfield District General Hospital, supporting the Head of Allied Health Professionals in the operational management of the teams.
You will be responsible and accountable to the Head of Allied Health Professions and you will be responsible for Advanced Clinical Specialist Physiotherapists & Occupational Therapists, Clinical Specialist Physiotherapists & Occupational Therapists, Associate Practitioners, Assistants, Administrative and Clerical Staff and Students.
The team delivers therapy input across a range of clinical areas, including Intensive care, surgical wards, medical wards, Trauma and elective wards, elderly care and within the medical assessment unit and A&E.
