This market leading business is the go-to supplier of products within the care home sector. Established in 1998 and part of a multinational group of companies, they have developed a reputation for their quality services, providing product-based solutions that are essential in the day-to-day operations of care homes throughout the UK.
Purpose of the Business Development Manager
You will take responsibility for managing and growing business within existing accounts and prospecting new business clients across the south, targeting care home groups at head office and site level. Through understanding your customers’ individual needs, you will manage business and aim to grow revenue through identifying new opportunities to expand the range of product lines currently being purchased. You will have full autonomy over your accounts which typically spend between £50k – £500k depending on the size of the company.
To be considered for the BDM role, we’re looking for candidates with:
1. Minimum of 3 years experience working in a B2B sales role
2. Experience of selling a wide product range with multiple SKU’s
3. Excellent relationship building, communication and organisational skills
4. Self-motivated, driven and confident personality
5. Full driving license
Benefits of the BDM role
1. Basic: £45,000 – 50,000

The position of BDM covers:
The south west of the UK including: Bristol, Cardiff, Swindon, Gloucester, Worcester, Birmingham, Exeter, Newbury.
