Experienced corporate lawyer, looking to gain access to quality work at a Legal 500-recognised firm?
My client is a highly-regarded regional firm which boasts an impressive client base including plc, SME and OMBs and has an excellent reputation within the corporate law market. The firm is now looking to recruit a solicitor to join its corporate team conveniently located outside of Birmingham, working closely with the head of department who has a commitment to training up and developing the lawyers under their supervision. This is a great opportunity to fast-track your experience in a role working closely with established clients.
You will likely have accrued circa 2-3 years PQE and will have experience of advising on corporate transactional matters including mergers & acquisitions, MBOs/MBIs, joint ventures and share and asset purchases, in addition to associated commercial agreements. Lawyers with slightly less PQE may also be considered, providing they can display the required skill-set and aptitude to get up to speed quickly and who are keen to learn and develop.
The firm is ideally seeking applications from lawyers with proven corporate experience but who have not come from a large firm or those seeking to move to a smaller practice where they can have greater client exposure.

Where PQE is referred to, this should be taken as indicative only and does not preclude applicants with other levels of experience who can display the necessary skill-set and supervisory requirements from being considered.
