We are actively looking for an Electrical Inspector to join a housing association in the Burton area on a permanent basis. In return, you will receive 23 days annual leave, flexible working, business mileage, and additional benefits.
As the Electrical Inspector, you will be:
* Assist with the preparation and delivery of Planned and Programmed installation and maintenance contracts in regard to EICR's and electrical rewires, ensuring that compliance, efficiency, and high standards are maintained.
* Monitor electrical contractor/contract performance, ensuring programmes are adhered to and targets are met.
* Review Electrical Certification (DEICR, DEIC) in conjunction with validation of contractors' claims for payment.
* Undertake site inspections of works in progress, giving advice and assistance to customers, ensuring a degree of tenant satisfaction with the service provided.
Qualifications and experience required for this Electrical Inspector role:
* Experience working within a social housing setting in a similar role.
* Knowledge of EICR reporting and all electrical servicing and surveying.
* SSSTS (or SMSTS), 2391 Testing and Inspection, Health and Safety Awareness.
