Elementa is recruiting for a Computer Science Teacher for a popular Secondary School in the Thornbury area of Bristol. This role has the possibility of becoming a permanent position for the right candidate.
You will be working alongside the Head of Computer Science, supporting the department in its operations, and making an impact both in and out of the classroom. The school has received significant investment in the past year, with two new computer science labs, including new and high-spec machines. Computer science is a popular choice at GCSE, and this role is vital for supporting the Head of Computer Science to increase the uptake to A-level and subsequently towards university, apprenticeships, and employment in the sector. This post would be suitable for an ECT or those looking for a new start in their career.
Responsibilities include:
* Teaching across Key Stages 3, 4 & 5
* Planning and marking
* GSCE & A-Level classes
