If so, Monarch Education are recruiting for a school in Birmingham, who are currently looking for a qualified KS1 Teacher who hols QTS. This role is full-time (Mon - Fri) school hours. We are looking for someone who is comfortable to support KS1 children. Part-time hours may also be accepted by the school for the right candidate. The role: As a KS1 teacher, you are expected to teach children between ages 5 and 7, helping them complete their year 1 or 2 curricula. You are also responsible to help improve their social skills through planning class activities and for their educational development. Must have knowledge of the Uk National Curriculum. Main responsibilities: Building relationships with staff and pupils. Covering Primary subjects for a class of 20-30 children. Managing and overcoming difficult behaviour. Planning lessons/activities. Taking the register Supervising on Lunch/Break times. Supporting teaching assistants within the classroom. Collecting evidence of children's work to support their assessments.
