Finance Manager – Innovative Start-Up Company Location: Leeds Salary: Up to £50k Join an exciting journey with a pioneering start-up business as their Finance Manager playing a pivotal role in establishing and enhancing financial processes, controls, and systems and overseeing / developing the finance function. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including monthly management accounts preparation, month-end journals, balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow management and transactional finance. Establish and optimise financial processes, controls, and reporting frameworks from early inception. Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Finance lead for new system implementation and integration. Partner closely with senior management to provide insightful guidance and support business growth initiatives. Qualifications: Newly qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent), ideally with 1-2 years post qualification industry experience. Ability to work in a start-up/ SME environment. Strong technical knowledge of accounting standard and excellent analytical skills. Hands-on approach with the flexibility to adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
