(8.30am to 4.00pm Monday and Tuesday)
We're seeking a passionate and creative individual to work with our trainees who have learning difficulties at V21 Technology @ Heath. You'll be responsible for supporting development and delivering a range of tech-based learning activities, from filming, animation to social media and graphic design, with lots more fun activities to complete each training day.
Key Responsibilities:
* Mentor and support trainees
* Support development and deliver engaging workshops
* Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment
* Collaborate with the marketing team to promote V21

Responsible to: V21 Learning Projects Manager
Responsible for: Trainees and Volunteers
Main Responsibilities
* Work with the Technology team to enhance the development and growth of V21 Technology innovations ensuring the provision of a wide range of tech-based learning activities.
* Co-operate with the Learning projects staff team in all activities relating to trainee learning through activities, social interaction, teamwork, and engagement.
* Empower your team by making each individual feel valued and recognised for their contributions.
Key Tasks
* Work together to achieve the project and the trainee’s goals.
* Be responsible for supervising all trainees and volunteers in the project.
* Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
General Tasks
* Undertake regular liaison with colleagues, V21 projects, and volunteers.
* Connect with potential partners and collaborators.
* Maintain confidentiality with respect to V21, its projects, staff, volunteers, trainees, visitors, and general operations.

Essential Criteria:
Qualifications/Education
* A good standard of education.
* ICT / Technology based, Social Care and or Training qualification.
Experience
* Experience of working with people with either a learning disability or other group with complex needs.
* Proven experience of teamwork.
Knowledge
* Knowledge of the learning, developmental and personal needs of people with learning difficulties.
* Good working knowledge of ICT equipment and its maintenance.
Key Skills/Abilities
* The ability to work in a sensitive and enabling manner.
* The ability to communicate with trainees, parents and carers about trainees progress.
* The ability to maintain confidentiality appropriately.
