Decontamination Driver
Hours Per Week
Full flexibility 7 days a week will be required.
We are now inviting applications for the post of Decontamination Driver to join our busy team at Berkshire Independent Hospital.
We are seeking a competent individual to work in our Sterile Services Unit as a Driver, the primary driving role will include the collection and delivery of medical instruments from/to our local Ramsay hospitals plus other various site related duties will be required.
Flexibility from the successful candidate is essential as the Hub operates 7 days a week.
A full driving license will be required for this role.
Duties Include
1. Removing trolleys of sets/instruments from Autoclaves
2. Scanning of sets/instruments into trolleys producing a dispatch note
3. Loading trolleys into Company Vans, making sure the trolleys are not overweight
4. Drive to various hospitals and unloading trolleys at other end
5. The collection of dirty/used sets/instruments and bring back to Sterile Services East
The ideal candidate will have :
6. Sound written and verbal communication skills
7. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
8. Good computer skills an advantage
9. Flexibility and adaptability
10. Demonstrated customer service skills#
