So, what does the role of a Senior Pricing Analyst here involve?
The role of Senior Pricing Analyst (reporting to the Chief Underwriting Officer) will work closely with the Head of Technical Pricing and Home Underwriting Director in the analysis of the Home portfolio, contributing to the profitability of the MGA and protecting capacity providers financial results. Ownership and responsibility for a suite of Management Information to manage the underwriting performance of the portfolio, and contributing to short term and long term pricing changes are key parts of the role.
You would be responsible for the preparation of any regulatory reporting requirements related to pricing, and would participate in interactions with insurers providing insight and commentary on past and future underwriting performance.
This role is a fantastic opportunity for you to join a newly formed MGA at the start of our journey, with a broad role working alongside our Chief Underwriting Officer, Home Underwriting Director and other members of the senior team across the business.
What we are looking from you
* Experience managing, maintaining and developing a suite of Management Information to inform portfolio management
* Proven track record in providing insight and commentary on underwriting performance, and contributing to pricing and product changes
* UK Household insurance market knowledge with a desire to keep on top of market trends
* Strong product knowledge with a minimum of 3 years work experience within personal or commercial lines pricing or similar (Household pricing experience would be an advantage)
* Analytical, decisive and ability to problem solve
* Experience building and analysing various sources of data to drive recommendations
* Capable of meeting deadlines and hitting targets as required
* Experience building a wide range of data visualizations and ability to draw appropriate conclusions, articulate key messages
