The Role
We are looking for a confident, experienced Sales Service Manager to take over the day-to-day running of our sales & customer service operations. You will be one of the first points of contact for prospective and existing clients, managing enquiries, preparing quotes, and converting leads into loyal customers across all our service areas.
You will also oversee a small but growing sales team, ensuring high standards of customer service and hitting monthly targets. A strong understanding of gardening, landscaping, and construction is essential, as you will be quoting for both high-end garden design projects and standard landscaping projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Respond to incoming calls and email enquiries in a timely, professional manner
2. Prepare and manage quotes for a range of services, including:
3. General landscaping projects
4. Cleaning and window cleaning services
5. Work closely with the operations and design teams to ensure seamless service delivery
6. Manage and support the internal sales team across all service areas
7. Track leads, conversions, and performance using our CRM system
8. Build strong relationships with clients, offering a premium, personalised experience
9. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling across services
10. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to help inform sales strategy
What We’re Looking For
1. Proven experience in a sales management role within service sales, horticulture, landscaping, construction, or a related industry
2. Strong understanding of garden and outdoor design principles and processes
3. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
4. Customer-focused, with a natural ability to build rapport and trust
5. Organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently
6. Experience using a CRM system (training provided if needed)
7. A passion for sustainability and beautiful living spaces is a bonus
