A unique opportunity has arisen to join the outstanding Burnley College Management Team, as the Head of Learning and Professional Development.
The successful post holder will provide effective and innovative leadership in the development and implementation of professional development for all staff. To lead and rigorously manage the Learning & Teaching Strategy, ensuring an outstanding learning experience for all, and that outstanding learning and teaching practice is embedded throughout the organisation.
The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent level qualification in an area relevant to Curriculum, as well as a recognised teaching qualification. Thorough knowledge of ITE curriculum and assessment framework and expert knowledge of education and pedagogy including professional standards, policy and requirement is essential for this role.
