Description The EU Relay Operations Team (EU ROC) is seeking a Corporate Transportation Operations Manager to join their ROC as a Service (ROCaaS) team. The ideal candidate will have a strong delivery record and operations experience to own and execute strategic and cross-functional support for the transportation operations of Ship with Amazon (SWA). This role represents a unique hybrid between program management and operations, combining the best of both disciplines. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives while also managing the day-to-day operations to ensure seamless transportation services for our customers. Key job responsibilities As the leader of the support ROCaaS provides to Ship with Amazon, the Operations Manager will have the following key responsibilities: - Serve as the primary point of contact for SWA stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and open communication. - Own the SLA agreement with SWA, including the operational and growth support agreements, as well as the KPIs for measuring the success of the service. - Define the strategic roadmap for the team to achieve the agreed-upon goals, working closely with stakeholders. - Partner with stakeholders to accept, define, and execute new business intakes. - Drive operational excellence through process improvement, simplification, and standardization, leveraging data-driven insights. - Ensure the day-to-day operations are executed to the agreed-upon standards. - Manage a team of people managers and individual contributors. - Establish strong relationships, processes, and best practices with the Hyderabad (HYD) counterparts to ensure business continuity. A day in the life As the Operations Manager, you will lead the operations and support growth for SWA. Given the evolving nature of SWA, the execution of operations is constantly changing. You will leverage your strong judgment to independently make the right decisions on the course of action when presented with unfamiliar situations, bringing consensus with the appropriate stakeholders when needed. You will collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders within the ROC and externally to deliver a service that meets the agreed-upon standards with SWA. You will own your team management and engagement, as well as the critical stakeholder relationships. Owning the relationship with program stakeholders, you will attend business reviews and establish the governance framework. You will also own a ROCaaS pillar and actively contribute to OP1/OP2 reviews. The position is based in BHX2, UK. Operating 24/7, the ROCaaS team performs a wide range of critical functions, including planning, execution, compliance, sourcing, disruption management, expansion management, and driving operational excellence.
