What You’ll Do
1. Lead SOTI’s legal team in the EMEA region and serve as key advisor to business teams throughout the region.
2. Advise on a wide range of commercial transactions, including sales, procurement, product and partnership initiatives.
3. Partner with SOTI’s People and Culture team on human resource matters throughout the EMEA region.
4. Manage external counsel on appropriate matters.
5. Design and implement policies, templates and processes to support the efficient and effective delivery of legal services in the EMEA region.
6. Coach and mentor team members.
7. Develop and deliver training on legal concepts, templates and processes.
Experience You’ll Bring
1. 4-8 years PQE as a lawyer at a top-tier law firm and/or as in-house counsel within the software industry.
2. A lawyer in good standing licensed to practice.
3. Experience negotiating and drafting a variety of commercial agreements.
4. Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability and interest to learn about areas of law, and the laws of different jurisdictions.
6. Demonstrated ability to work in a team and with different levels of management.
7. Strong writing, drafting, and speaking skills.
8. Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
