What you will do: You will provide high quality secretarial and administrative support to the Clinical and scientific staff to ensure efficiency in patient care. Duties undertaken will include the transcription of histology reports, post mortems and other routine tasks as delegated by the Pathology Office Co-ordinator. You will be able to use your own initiative to deal sensitively with individuals and particularly to remain calm when dealing with complaints. A minimum typing speed of 50 w.p.m. and a recognised administrative/medical secretarial qualification is essential or equivalent experience in an NHS setting.
