Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger Clerk Cradley Heath Permanent Salary: £25K to £30K dependent on experience. We are working in partnership with an established organisation who are recruiting for an Accounts Administrator who is proficient in Purchase and sales ledger duties. You will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day financial records of the organisation, including maintaining accuracy, processing financial transactions, and providing administrative support to the finance team. This role ensures compliance with financial regulations and contributes to the smooth running of the organisations financial operations. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable and Receivable Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and in a timely manner. Reconcile accounts to statements and ensure discrepancies are resolved. Financial Records Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers and journals. Ensure all records are compliant with company policies and legal requirements. Reporting Prepare and distribute financial reports. Assist in budget preparation and tracking expenditures against budgets. Administrative Duties Respond to financial inquiries from staff and stakeholders. Organise and maintain financial documents, both physical and electronic. Compliance and Auditing Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures. Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation. The Ideal Candidate Will have experience in sales and purchase ledger. Have excellent attention to detail.
