For individuals who find it challenging to visit an optometrist, this service offers a solution by bringing the opticians directly to their homes, allowing for eye tests in the comfort of familiar surroundings. The service also extends to residents in care homes, ensuring that everyone has access to high-quality optometry care. The teams are specially trained to work with individuals who have dementia, learning disabilities, or other conditions requiring additional care and attention.
Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for an Optical Assistant based in Manchester. As an Optical Assistant, you will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks related to customer interaction, satisfaction, communication, optometry, and customer service within the optical industry.
Skills:
1. Interpersonal Skills, Communication, and Customer Service proficiency
2. Optometry knowledge and experience
3. Ability to prioritize customer satisfaction
4. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers effectively
5. At least 1 year experience in the optical industry
6. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
License/Certification:
1. Clean Driving Licence
