Full time QA Technologist role for chilled food manufacturing environment, requiring technical experience, knowledge of food safety legislation, HACCP, BRC standard, and strong communication and IT skills.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Provide on-site technical and Quality cover.
• Prepare and participate in 3rd party audits, customer audits and visitor site visits.
• Complete daily checks including temperature, titration, scales, GMP, fabrication, hygiene, and internal audits.
• Coordinate cleaning schedules with the operations hygiene team.
• Assist in consumer complaint investigations and corrective actions.
• Complete laboratory sampling and review results.
• Investigate microbial Out Of Specification (OOS) results.
• Assist with Operations on booking in goods and stock control.
• Participate in site quality improvement projects and train operation teams.
**Requirements:**
• Previous technical experience in chilled food manufacturing environment, preferably in meat processing.
• Knowledge of food safety legislation, HACCP and current BRC standard.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer focused approach.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• High attention to detail.
• IT literate with strong computer skills.
