Job Description Overview Days: Full-Time (37.5 hours) Experience: Treatment Room Duties LTC Management desirable Salary: Dependant on experience Responsibilities Conducting patient assessments and providing nursing care in a primary care setting Administering medications, vaccinations, and other treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers Educating patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and self-care techniques Assisting with minor surgical procedures and wound care as required Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and provide support in chronic disease management Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards Qualifications Valid nursing license and certification as a Practice Nurse Proven experience working in a primary care or general practice setting Strong clinical skills and the ability to provide patient-centered care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients from diverse backgrounds Knowledge of current healthcare practices, procedures, and regulations Commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion in healthcare delivery Day-to-day As a Practice Nurse, your typical day will involve conducting patient assessments, administering treatments, educating patients on health and wellness, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and maintaining accurate patient records.
