Role Overview As our HR Business Partner for the UK Venues, you’ll play a key role in supporting and shaping our people strategy as we continue to grow. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our leadership team, working closely with venue General Managers and senior leaders to provide HR guidance and solutions that align with our goals and values. In this role, you’ll help drive transformational change, ensuring our people strategy is fully in tune with the direction of the business. You’ll also be at the heart of exciting HR initiatives, such as the implementation of a new HR IT system, and leading programmes around diversity, inclusion, wellbeing, and employee engagement. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with leadership and GMs to understand business needs and provide effective HR support across people-related matters. Lead initiatives to develop colleagues, driving growth through training and development programmes. Manage and coach junior HR team members to support their growth and development. Lead on employee relations issues and oversee the recruitment process, from role design to onboarding. Support performance management through coaching and training for people managers, fostering a high-performance culture. Contribute to the development of HR strategy and lead initiatives to improve engagement, retention, and absence management. Assist with the implementation of HR systems, policies, and global initiatives to ensure alignment with the business. Share best practices across the team, identify opportunities for improvement, and adapt HR processes for better delivery. Ensure timely delivery of key HR processes and support succession planning for talent development. Work with leaders to create business cases to enhance performance and remain agile in a growing organisation. Key Skills and Experience Significant experience in a Generalist HR role, including partnering responsibilities. Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and employment law. Proven ability to plan and manage work programmes, handle conflicting demands, and meet deadlines effectively. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively at all levels. High level of IT proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office and HR systems. Knowledge Understanding of cultural development and team-building strategies. Ability to adapt to the demands of a multi-site work environment. Previous experience managing people or mentoring junior team members. Knowledge of TUPE processes and related legal requirements. Hands-on experience implementing new HR systems. Background in cultural development and fostering team collaboration. Knowledge and Skills Experience supporting operations across multiple sites. Proven ability to drive innovation and align HR practices with organisational goals.
