A reputable organisation in Hounslow is seeking a reliable and dedicated Caretaker/Cleaner to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and security of the premises. The ideal individual will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and emptying bins.
2. Ensure all communal areas, restrooms, and offices are kept to a high standard of cleanliness.
3. Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs and minor repairs.
4. Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
5. Report any safety hazards or necessary repairs to the appropriate personnel.
6. Secure the premises, including locking doors and windows and setting alarms where required.
7. Ensure external areas are clean and free from litter.
Requirements:
8. Previous experience in a cleaning or caretaking role is desirable but not essential.
9. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
10. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
11. Basic maintenance and DIY skills.
12. Good communication and organisational skills.
13. Physical ability to carry out manual tasks and lift equipment as required.
14. Must be punctual, reliable, and trustworthy.
