Crowders Nurseries, part of the RSK Group, is looking to recruit an experienced Horticultural Sales Account Manager to work on a full-time, permanent basis. This position can be hybrid (Horncastle) or remote for the right person.
Crowders is a nationally renowned wholesale grower, supplying a full range of high-quality plant material for outstanding landscapes, from high-end private domestic schemes to large national infrastructure programmes.
Responsibilities:
* Manage customer relationships end-to-end, from initial contact and quotations through to order completion and delivery.
* Build strong customer relationships and manage their expectations.
* Liaise with the Business Development Manager regarding non-active and new lead customers.
* Ensure customer application forms are fully completed and coordinate with the Finance team to obtain necessary credit limits.
* Monitor credit limits to ensure they are not exceeded without permission for high-value orders.
* Ensure profit margins are met and maximized where possible.
* Achieve customer minimum order values for free delivery; apply correct delivery rates when necessary.
* Utilize an in-house quotation tool alongside in-house software and market knowledge to secure competitive deals.
Skills / Experience:
* Ability to handle and prioritize workload in a busy environment.
* Previous sales experience required, with a proven track record and commercial awareness.
* Strong business acumen and professionalism.
* Team player.
Salary / Benefits:
* Salary: up to £40,000 pa depending on experience.
