An exciting opportunity to join a small specialist unit for the care of the older adult has arisen. Kingsway Care Centre has 3 wards with each ward having 14 beds. If you are a person with a passion for caring for individuals with both organic and functional illness then Kingsway will provide you with the opportunity to nurture this.
You will join a multi-disciplinary team and as part of this team you will be responsible for the assessment of your patients utilising such techniques as stress and distress and WRAP. Kingsway Care Centre has a very pro-active teaching programme for both Mental Health and Physical Health. As part of this team we will expect you to undertake further training in relation to your role and encourage you to deliver this within your working environment as part of our continued improvement.
You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN3 or Sub-part 2: RN3 of the UK NMC Register.
